Boulder, CO

January 4, 2006

We're home! We landed in the USA at the LAX airport and then quickly through customs to make our flight to Denver International Airport. It was quite a dash but we made it. We were in our *own* bed by midnight. We can say, with some amount of authority, that our bed is the *best* bed in the world.

We're not sure what it's like to be home yet. Life seems to have kept going while we were gone -- that is a good thing!

Luke has been having work meetings and setting up his office at home. I have class this week, Thursday through Sunday, 8:00 to 5:30. We are lucky to host our friends from Slovenia, Tanja and Andrej, this weekend while they pass through Boulder. We stayed with them at the the beginning of our trip and so it will great to see them now, back here in Boulder.

We just an email from our new friends, Adam and Elsa, who met on the bus ride up to the small village in northern Thailand and they are looking at house about 35 minutes from us. We are really excited about that.

We drove up to the cabin yesterday and everything was in great shape. Not too much snow but some bad drifts that kept us from driving all the way up.

We are going to upload more photos to our site since we are home and our connection is great. We are going to leave the site up for who want to enjoy it.

Thanks to everyone who came along for the journey. We had an amazing time and we were glad to share it with everyone who has been logging on.
