Rome, Italy

October 7, 2005

Whew! What a run! We've just spent the last couple days on the move. Overnight ferry from Crete to Athens. (arrived at 5am!) Caught a train to Patras, then another overnight ferry to Bari, Italy (that one took 16 hours), then a 5 hour train on to Rome. We're pretty beat, but we opted for a cabin on the last ferry, so got a shower and a decent nights sleep.

Lots of stuff planned for the next couple days!

you must be nearing the south of France. enjoy the fine country wine, bread and cheese with Michele and Marilyn and don't forget to toast to their Birthdays.
