Agra, India

November 15, 2005

Arrived in Agra at about 7:30 this morning. Got to see the Taj in the morning sun as we went by on the train. The train was 2 hours late, but our driver was waiting for us. We're getting a bit familiar with this routine of arriving early, check into hotel, eat some breakfast and chai, have shower, nap, and we're ready for the day.

We'll post more soon! (and add more to the Varanasi report)

November 16, 2005

So we got to see the sunset and the full moon over the Taj Mahal last night. It was magic. The Taj is the most beautiful thing built by man either of us has ever seen.

We're headed out this morning to Bharatpur to visit a bird sanctuary there.

Sorry for the short update, but we have to go catch our bus. We've added a few photos for Rishikesh, Varanasi and Agra!

Love to everyone!

a friend of mine wrote a great book about the building of the taj, beneath a marble sky. you should read it when you get back.

Hey guys. It is so good to catch up on your travels. I have a few questions for you. I know ti might be hard to answer and multiple answers are fine *grin* * So far what has been your favorite city and why? * Have you picked up any souveniers? What did you get and why? * What has been your least favorite experience on this trip? * Do you guiys ever spend any time apart or do you even need to? * What has been your favorite meal? I miss you both terribly. I have been 4 wheeling lots and am doing well. Much love, -Molly
